Alicia, What made you decide to do Real Estate?
As a previous small business owner for over a decade, I always had a strong desire to understand and participate in the real estate market, whether buying, selling or investing in a property. What I found was that real estate allowed me to work from all my strengths; listening and understanding my clients wants and needs, researching the best possibilities, negotiating acceptable terms, and guiding buyers and sellers through the process smoothly and efficiently. It was the easiest choice I have ever made. When you do what you love, you don't work a day in your life. I have a front row seat to my clients' life achievements. It's amazing to have the opportunity to put that family into their first home where they will start their life together or upgrade them to a home that will fit their growing family or finding those empty-nesters that perfect retirement spot. It's such an honor to be a part of this process and I do everything in my power to make the experience enjoyable and seamless.
I know so many Realtors, what sets you apart from them?
It's really my attention to detail. Yes, homes whether buying or selling, do have set steps that have to happen in order for the transaction to make it to closing. It can be an extremely stressful time for the buyer or seller. When you have an agent that understands the process, but then goes above and beyond to ensure all contracts are in-line, title is in good standing, deadlines are being met, inspections are complete and lenders have the information required, (and helping to resolve any issues that arise) it relieves some of that stress and makes the process much more enjoyable. This is an exciting time and it shouldn't be something that makes you want to cringe when you think about it! And it's also about really understanding your clients and their wants and needs. Asking the questions to "dive in deeper" to get to the core of what they are looking for so they feel their time is well spent. This is where my clients LIVE and build memories, it needs to be a place they will love.
What can I expect from you as my agent?
Most importantly, I am an advocate. Because of this, you can expect to understand the process. Weed through the necessary and unnecessary. Guide you through what to expect. Handle any issues that may arise and offer solutions. I will always put your needs above anything else.
